We are currently seeking a dynamic and energetic Product Development Manager to join our team in Pointe-Claire.  The Product Development Manager will be responsible for strategic planning, product design and development, product sourcing with overseas and domestic manufacturing, management of volume and margin goals, and the creation of marketing support materials relating to the product categories for which he/she is responsible.    

The ideal candidate should have a Bachelors of Commerce specialized in Marketing or other related degree, and a minimum of 5 years of experience in product management and development, preferably with consumer goods / retail.  Must have very good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint and must be fluent in English and French. 

Globe is seeking a team player who has a strong balance of creative and analytical skills.  Must be well organized and have a strong attention to detail.  Strong leadership and communication skills are also required. 

Must be available for occasional travel within and outside of Canada.


Accounts Payable Clerk

We are currently seeking a dynamic and energetic Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in Pointe-Claire.  Globe offers its employees a great work environment and many opportunities for growth. 

Reporting directly to the Supervisor of Accounts Payable, the Accounts Payable Clerk is responsible for all duties relating to accounts payable, which includes:

  • Verifying and processing invoices;

  • Producing cheques;

  • Keeping accounts up-to-date;

  • Reconciling vendors statements and accounts;

  • Performing research to solve anomalies;

  • Producing various reports;

  • Filing and maintaining Accounts Payable invoices, records and files;

  • Relieving the receptionist at breaks and lunches, as needed;

  • Participating in special projects;

  • Performing other related tasks.

The ideal candidate would have a D.E.C. in Business Administration and 2 years of experience in accounts payable.  As this person will be handling primarily freight suppliers, experience in this area is required.  The person should have a very good knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook and should be fluently bilingual.  Knowledge of Great Plains an asset. 


Customer Service Agent

We are currently seeking two part-time Customer Service Agents to join our team in Pointe-Claire.  We are seeking candidates who are interested in a long-term career with Globe and who are available to work a fixed schedule of approximately 20 hours / week, yet who are flexible and available to work extra hours when needed.

The Customer Service Agent is responsible for responding to and following-up on consumer requests, received both by phone and by e-mail, in an efficient and timely manner.  He/she will coordinate and follow-up on requests with other departments as needed to ensure that our consumers receive an excellent level of customer service and after sales support.  This person will also participate in special projects and will support any other sales department efforts as required.

The ideal candidate should have a D.E.C. and 2 years of experience in customer service.  Must have a very good knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook and be bilingual in written and verbal communication skills.

Graphic Designer

We are currently seeking a dynamic and energetic Graphic Designer to join our team in Pointe-Claire.  The Graphic Designer will be responsible for executing all levels of graphic design as it relates to the company’s brand including packaging, merchandising and multimedia.

The ideal candidate should have the following prerequisites:

  • University or college degree in graphic design;

  • 3-5 years of experience in graphic design;

  • Experience in adapting and following brand guidelines;

  • Experience in packaging;

  • Experience with consumer products an asset;

  • Proficient in MAC (Creative Suites –Illustrator, Photoshop and Acrobat), Microsoft Office, Strata 3D or equivalent 3D modeling software;

  • Good knowledge of web programming (HTML, Flash, javascript) an asset;

  • Ability to perform well under pressure;

  • Experience with overseas production factories an asset.

Inside Sales Coordinator

We are currently seeking a dynamic and energetic Inside Sales Coordinator to join our team in Pointe-Claire.  This person will be responsible for maintaining positive working relationships with all assigned customers, their buyers, assistants and managers, as well as with their assigned sales representatives.  The Inside Sales Coordinator will prepare customer quotes, set up vendor sheets, coordinate customer details with other departments as needed,  respond to customers’ queries on orders, products and services, as well as questions related to pricing, R/A’s, billing and quotes.  They must also follow-up on any other customer problems/situations that may arise.    

The ideal candidate should have a D.E.C. in Business Administration or other related degree and a minimum of 3 years of experience in internal sales, preferably within the consumer goods / retail industry.  Must have very good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint and must be bilingual.   Spanish is an asset.

Order Entry Clerk

We are currently seeking an Order Entry Clerk to join our team.  Reporting directly to the Order Entry Supervisor, the Order Entry Coordinator is responsible for:

  • Verifying and processing orders received electronically and by fax;

  • Ensuring orders are accurately entered in the system;

  • Ensuring orders meet customer requirements and monitoring outstanding orders on a daily basis;

  • Coordinating approval of orders and transmitting them as needed;

  • Performing general office duties e.g. filing, photocopying;

  • Performing other tasks related to his / her area of expertise, as needed.

The ideal candidate would have a D.E.C. in Business Administration and 2 years of office experience including customer service and/or order processing. Experience dealing with major retailers and knowledge of EDI is a strong asset.  The person should have a very good knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook and must be fluently bilingual in English and French. 

We are seeking a team player who is able to prioritize and accurate. This person must have good capacity of adaptability, initiative and good job knowledge. Must be punctual, reliable and have good customer relations.
