Les
ampoules fluorescentes, reconnues pour leur efficacité
énergétique, sont parfois trop volumineuses pour les lampes
délicates. Un globe torsadé qui
jaillit de l'abat-jour n'a rien de très élégant... Le
fabricant Globe Électrique remédie au problème avec
l'ampoule Ultra mini, aussi efficace que les autres, mais
plus petite.
Son culot, de taille moyenne, convient a la plupart
des lampes. Le format de l'ampoule est aussi pratique pour
les plafonniers. Une ampoule fluorescente Ultra mini de 13W
émet une lumière qui équivaut a celle d'une ampoule
incandescente de 60W. Homologué Energy Star, ce produit dure
jusqu'a six fois plus longtemps qu'une ampoule
incandescente, soit environ cinq ans.

Globe Electric, booth 21337, is introducing a line of decor, halogen and energy saving desk lamps at this market.
Economically priced, the desk lamps offer a marriage of form, function and design. The magnifier desk lamp features a magnifier incorporated into the lamp head for reading convenience.
From the Company's contractor line of products, Globe's convertible twinhead broadbeam worklight offers an extended projection of light. Traditional worlights offer a 100-degree spread, whereas Globe's broadbeam worklights offer 162 degrees. It comes with a convenient carrying case and can be mounted on the floor or placed on a tripod, which is included.
The Globe LED nightlights use less than one watt of energy and last up to 100,000 hours.
Globe is also featuring its enersaver compact fluorescent bulbs, which offer more than 70 percent energy savings, and will continue to grow as a replacement for traditional incandescent bulbs.
Also launching at the show is Globe's new Internet site, showcasing merchandising solutions and consumer information.
